No artist annoying flash here, thank you very much.</div><div><br /></div><div>While the band played an amazing set, the house audio was somewhat less than the pristine mixes we're used to hearing with anything associated with The Dead. Lots of boomy standing waves in the 200Hz range marred Bill's playing, as well as rendering the bass fairly indistinct through most of the show. </div><div><br /></div><div>In spite of the technical issues, it was still an excellent show.</div><div><br /></div><div>The new Hunter material is brilliant, as is Papa Mali's very tasty delivery. And Bill's playing? Nothing short of stunning. Matt Hubbard is a great fit in the lineup.
